Um, well, just one store...for now. ;)

Today I'm going down to Periwinkle on Bloor ([link]) to give them some plushrooms. They're a consignment shop in Toronto that's opening this weekend. I'm excited!

If you live in Toronto or are in the area sometime, you should drop by! They're located at 2137 Bloor Street West.


Also, this weekend on sunday the 25th, I will be doing a craft fair at 6 Noble St, called Bazaar of the Bizarre. There will be halloween themed plushrooms (zombies, skeletons), and some jack-o-lanterns.

What is the Bibelot Forest?

You may be wondering what Bibelot Forest means. So, I'm going to explain it! A bibelot is defined as "a small decorative object of curiosity or rarity". So...my creation, Bibelot Forest, is a forest filled with strange little creatures. :aww: I'm trying to keep my focus on forest wildlife, which is why you don't see me making pigs, elephants, lions, etc. Sure I have sheep which are not technically forest animals, but I like them, so whatever.

My plushrooms are my main design from the Bibelot Forest, but I hope to have other designs soon. Plushroom is a word I made up to describe the shape of my toys...the head is sort of like a mushroom cap and the body, a stem. They don't really look like a mushroom though, haha. Oh well...the name stuck!

oh yes!
i also wanted to ask how you price your plushies.
i recently started selling some of my crocheted dolls and wasn't quite sure how to price them.
any advice would be great.
